The Taj Festival of Crafts, Art and Culture in Agra will begin on Tuesday evening. Instead of February 18 to 27, this festival will be held till March 2. More than 350 craftsmen across the country are coming to showcase their art. In these 13 days, Shilpagram will show a glimpse of small India, where culture, crafts and arts of states across the country will be seen.

The Taj Mahotsav was inaugurated on Tuesday evening at 5:30 pm Union Minister Prof. SP Singh Baghel, Culture Minister Jayveer Singh, Higher Education Minister Yogendra Upadhyay, Women and Child Development Minister Baby Rani Maurya and Home Guard Minister Dharamvir Prajapati will light a lamp in Shilpagram.

After the inauguration, the team of Dr. Surabhi Shukla will present the dance based on Mahakumbh, while Brij Vandana and the Holi of flowers will be from Murari Lal Group. Organizing Secretary Shakti Singh informed that events will be held in Shilpagram till March 2, while Sadar Bazar, Sursadan, I Love Agra Selfie Point and Atal Udyan will be held from 18 to 27 February. The Taj Nature Walk will be from 28 February to 2 March and Yamuna’s Aarti will be from 18 to 27 February.

Shilpi started arriving from Surajkund

After the fair ended in Surajkund, the craftsmen started coming to Agra from Monday evening. He reached the office on Taj Road, UP Tourism for allotment of stalls, where he was asked to go to Shilpgram at the Taj Mahotsav. This time no experienced employee of Uttar Pradesh Tourism Office is present in the festival.

From the regional tourism officer to the tourism officer, they will be part of this festival for the first time. Due to the duty of most employees in Mahakumbh, many arrangements have been changed this time in the festival. The media briefing to be held a day before the festival was also not the first time.
